What we collect
When you complete the quote form we collect the details you enter:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your postcode
- Your answer to whether you own your home
We also automatically collect marketing attribution data so we understand which advert or link brought you here. This includes campaign source information (UTM values such as the campaign, source, medium and term) and advertising click identifiers (for example a Google gclid or a Meta fbclid/fbc), along with the page you first landed on, your browser’s user-agent string and your IP address.
How we use it and our lawful basis
We use your details to match you with suitable vetted, accredited installers in your area and to arrange your window quotes. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry you have made.
We will contact you by phone about the quote request you have made. Any call you receive is directly related to that application — to discuss your requirements and arrange your quotes — not for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Window Quotes Wizard is a quote-matching service, not an installer. Where your enquiry qualifies, we may pass your details to a matched installer (or a small number of matched installers) so they can prepare and discuss your quote. We also use trusted service providers who help us operate the website and process enquiries on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry details for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations — normally 24 months from your last contact with us — after which they are securely deleted or anonymised. Marketing attribution cookies expire after 90 days (see our cookie policy).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
